Provelox is open source: run your apps on the servers you already own

Provelox is now open source. Give it a Docker image or a Compose file and it gives you a domain, HTTPS, logs, usage and one-click rollbacks, on your own hardware.

Your servers, one console

Provelox is now open source. We have run it internally since 2022, and we are making the code public so anyone can run it. It is a self-hosted platform for running apps and Docker Compose projects on Docker Swarm, with a web console on top. You bring the servers. Provelox handles the rest of the work of running an app.

What you get

  • Deploy apps and Compose projects. Paste a Compose file or point at an image and run it on Docker Swarm.
  • Domains with automatic HTTPS. Attach your own domains and get certificates without manual setup.
  • Logs, usage and rollbacks. See what each app is doing, how much memory and CPU it uses, and roll back to the previous version in one click.
  • Databases from templates. Start common databases in a few clicks, with the data kept on volumes.
  • Bring your existing setup. Import what you already run instead of starting from scratch.

The console groups apps into collections, shows live status and instance counts, and flags anything that needs attention or has a newer image.

Where to find it

The first stable release, v0.5.0, shipped on November 3, 2026, and the latest is v0.5.4. Read the repository README for installation. If you want help putting Provelox on your own servers, or you want to run Proplox, our property management product, on it, get in touch.
