The engineering team behind Coptev’s logistics platforms
Coptev is a technology holding company for logistics software. Floms designs, builds and operates the platforms it runs on.
The brief
Trucking and logistics companies run on many moving parts: vehicles, drivers, orders, inspections, invoices, tracking and carrier checks. Coptev wanted dependable software for each of those jobs, from a team that could keep all of it running.
Rather than one oversized system, the work is a family of focused platforms that share a technical foundation. Each one solves a specific problem well, and the team behind them stays the same.

How we approach it
Shared foundations
The platforms are built in TypeScript on common libraries for data access, UI and brand, so a fix or feature in one place benefits every product.
Web and mobile
Next.js front ends and NestJS APIs, with mobile apps for the people who work in trucks and yards, not just at a desk.
Data that stays current
Sync tooling keeps FMCSA and DOT census records fresh, which powers carrier lookups and verification.
Built to run
We deploy, monitor and operate what we build, so there is one team accountable from the first commit to production.
